Dear All,
Presently I'm working with an IT MNC for past 3 months. Prior to that i have worked with a very reputed group dealing in retail & S/w Devp for more than 2.5 yrs. I have total experience of around 3 yrs. Although i'm very happy with my current profile & company as well. Only problem is that in Chandigarh growth is very slow & i look forward to relocate myself to Bangalore/Hyderabad in some good IT concern say in another 4-5 months down the line.
I was doubtful how to go about with my change pla. Should i place my CV with some consultant or apply online. Sometime back i cleared few telephonic interviews but only problem was that i was asked to appear at Bangalore for an interview at very.... short notice.
Pls advise would it be a wise decision to relocate to Bangalore & what could be the best way explore my plans. Would request professional working in Bangalore to comment somwthing about the job scenario in Bangalore.
Regards.
Monica

Hi Mamta...
Don't know much about Chandigarh, so camparing it with Bangalore would be difficult...
As for career growth and working conditions... Bangalore does provide a good ground...
I would suggest that once give your CV to some consultants and if you clear the telephonic rounds do go down for the final interviews.. it might be worth it...
Now a days there are many flights ex delhi to bangalore [ticket fares have also gone down considerably], so you can actually be in bangalore within a day's notice...

Sorry Monica
I don't know where i got the name mamta from... but my opinion stays same..
and if you haven't decided on any particular city then I would suggest Gurgaon and Noida as they also have great companies and offer good opportunities.. Plus it would be nearer to your native.. just thought ...

Dear Ajmal,
Need not apologise...
Well, Chandigarh is not my native place. I'm basically from Kolkata & somehow i didn't like north indian culture. People aren'ta s professional as are in southern india. Hence, would like to relocate myself. And plus i'm interested in continuiing in IT sector & Bangalore is the hub.
Well, i'll give thought to ur suggestion regd Gurgaon...
Thanks a ton.
Monica :)
