O so bitching and gossiping about your superiors romance is so much healthier and productive for the company...
If you have an issue, have the guts to discuss it else shutup about it. It is what it is than.
Personally, I have no issues with anyone having an affair. Keep it behind closed doors, be professional when at work and play hard when you are not at work

I completely agree to it. On the other side HR is like policemen, unless you get complaints from employees then it is absolutely not a problem. Without complaints the issue cannot be addressed. If you do so ,"Then it is fire on your seat". Without complaints if you address it then you are getting involved in his personal and interrupting his work. Try to be smart......Try to gather complaints in a written form....
Other things like as per others advice "Policy on workplace romance and other policies can be implemented.
keep in mind that a policy should be implemented to all but not for a particular person. try out of circle an play wise.

And for senior level person, he would have already seen many person like you. Its absolutely nonsense to get involved. And do have any ego problem talking to girls or a lady or a secretary. Never mind all these. If he is not doing his work properly, or sexual harassment can be addressed and proved. I don't know what is your problem. Leave it as it is and do your agenda well and good. I hope finding these kinda stuff is really useless and seems to be no work in HR in that company.
If you feel bad for the above comment.. I apologize for that.
After all life is absolutely life... Enroll the enjoyment.

Hi,
Romance or Flirting (???) is purely a personal matter between two ADULTS who happen to work in the same office. As long as we do not receive any complaint from colleagues/ others with substantial proofs or a solid reason to believe that the said relationship is interfering in official matters etc, we should not and CANNOT take any action.
There is no rule that two individuals cannot fall in love or flirt in work place anyway :)

Dear Friend,
Dont take this matter very seriosly and dont let this affect your work. This is common to almost all Organizations. If you would talk directly to that guy, he may get offended and may use his power to harm your career in some way. Better you neglect them if they are limited to chit chatting and having coffee together.
In case you find that their behavior is really indecent and disturbing the culture and environment of the organization, you can discuss the matter with the HR Head and tell him about the matter without using names.
Hope this would solve your problem.

Hi,

Thanks for feedbacks and a good discussion.

For those who think we did a useless discussion, I have something to say.

It is not a case of "sour grapes" or a filmy topic or a ignorable point being made a matter of gossip on a serious platform.

In an office environment, where such activities are going on, it becomes irritating for all to see two people making the environment look silly against the work pressure and that little tension that should be there at the work place.

The other people in that department whose boss is flirting start looking like a bunch of jokers, as they are not able to produce much, and have to move with the pace of their boss. Boss is not focusing on job, work is getting ignored and has become a second priority. Having good contacts with top notch, can save him but the juniors will not get saved.

The team interaction has reduced as the boss is every hour striving to reach the secretary and not giving time to his team.

And few more little little effects creep in. Now, I hope people who insist to focus on serious and international topics only, can appreaciate the importance of such local topics, which also effect us hugely and is happening quite commonly.
