Basic pf eligibility question
Hi all my question is if an employee s wages basicda exceeds rs6500/ per month can the employer decide not to pay pf at all? another question is if a workers salary is rs.10000/ can the employer show all of his salary as basic. in this case is the company liable to pay any pf at all? please help me with your valueable replies with suitable sections of the pf act if possible thanx in advance to all those who take the time to reply.
Need clarification on basic salary and appointment letter
Hi seniors thanks in advance. my first question is that basic salary should be as per minimum wages or in hand salary should be as per minimum wages act because companies are deducting the pf on basic salary which is less then minimum wages to save their contribution and when asked to increase the basic salary it is being denied by employer. my second question is if an employee is joined a company 8 years back and that time he was not given appointment letter now company wants to give him but the registered name of company has been changed and also company has not mentioned any record of his date of joining. what to do in this situation.
Gratuity question
Suppose i spent 5 years in a company. and i had the last basic salary of 26530. what would be my gratuity? would it calculated upon the basic of every year or the latest basic salary? please confirm.
Govt. guidelines for minimum basic salary .... urgent
Hi all can anybody tell me that whether there is a govt. guideline for minimum basic salary? here i am not talking about minimum wages. the question is for minimum basic salary. what of total salary shall be given as basic salary? is there any rule which says that minimum basic should be 70 of the total / gross salary? is there any guideline that the minimum basic slaray should be rs.2500/ pm? the above are the sugessions given to me by some of my friends. they are also not very clear on this. need your help. thanks sweety singh
What should be % of basic salary
Often one question is asked that what is the percentage of basic salary because there is no clarification some say basic salary should be 60 on gross remaining 40 can be fabricated in hra cca and other allowance. few say there is no specific rule that basic salary should be 60 they decide 4045 and 50. therefore please clarify this confusion is there any central/state govt or as per act rule in private sector basic salary should be 60 is there any notification if any please attach.
Provident fund - gross which is basic + da + other allowance?
Hi i have a question regarding pf. for pf calculation we consider 12 of basic da and the higher limit is rs1800 as pf contribution..but if the basic is less than rs.15 000 and 12 of basic is less than 1800 then do we consider pf gross which is basic daother allowance..if yes..what all is included in other allowance..any help and answers are welcome regards neelam
