Our company has engaged one trainee for a period of one year 01/01/2003 to 31/12/2003. The company was paying him consolidated stipend @10000/- per month.
He has been absorbed as officer in the company wef 01/01/2004 @ basic Rs 5000/-
My query is
1) For calculation of gratuity which date is to be considered- 01/01/2008 OR 01/01/2009.
