There is no Act in the name of Haryana Shops & Establishment Act while the name of this Act may be read as 'The Punjab Shops & Commercial Establishment Act,1958'.According to The Punjab S & C E Act as applicable to the State of Haryana an employee is entitled to have seven days sick leaves & seven days casual Leaves in a year . According to section 14 (1)(a) of this Act every employee who has been in employment for not less than 20 days in a year shall be entitled to one day's earned leave for every such 20 days. we should also note that 'year' means a year commencing on the first day of April. For more details you may also go through section 14 of this Act.
