I am a Life Insurance agent for last few years. I am doing it part time. I can vouch that to succeed in Life Insurance selling the training is must. I have attended a training course by TSMadaan <link no longer exists - removed> in Delhi few days back. Here are some important tips from that Life Insurance Training Workshop:

1. If one wants to succeed in life insurance selling, Stop selling Life insurance .... shocked ? even I was and every one in that workshop was. But TSMadaan continued with by saying what to do then. He told us that start helping people. Contribute in the lives of people. Go to temple, gurudwara, church or mosque, go to park, attend wedding ceremonies. Go out and out. Serve and help people there. They will automotically start helping you in your profession. Do not become a sales man but make others purchase men.

I must say it is a 25000 US $ formulae. I followed this and I saw a different and very encouraging results. He also gave us many more such secrets of becoming a successful sales man in Life Insurance.

I am so excited that I posted his one secret ( why secret? because TSMadaan himself excelled in Life Insurance selling in eighties) . I request you to go to his website <link no longer exists - removed> and see his charishma.

I think Insurance Training is multi-dimensional Job.training can be devided in 3 parts
1)Domain Training
2)Sales Training
3)Behavioral Training.
TS Madan(T.S.Madaan, Motivational Speaker & Trainer, 29 Years of Experience as quoted by Sunra Bose ) is a Motivational Speaker and Behavioral Trainer.
As a trainer In Life Insurance Sector your job is totally different......U must know how to manage Training, How to track the ROI, How to manage your Colleages and superior and subordinates. I mean A different world where your training skill is secondary and your managerial skill is primary.
