Dear Richa,
In terms of preparation for such test u need to forcus on different theories-motivation,learning etc .who propunded these theories and in which year.Various labour law acts .make sure that ur basic prepartion is gud .Whatever topic u take up for study prepare it well.These test include very basic questions.Do focus on quantitative aptitude thats also important.

How much time does Grievance Officer/ Department Head have to solve Grievance?
Options range from 48 hrs to 3 days to 7 days.
Check up the Model Grievance Procedure mentioned in Grievance chapter in Monappa.
NTPC questions were focussed on EI (Goleman, Gardner), Games (Berne), Johari Window (TA), Labour Law (Section 2(q) of ID Act), OB (Motivation, leadership), HRD (Training & Development). Research Methodology - basic qs. Covered the syllabus mentioned their site.
NICL questions were focusssed from Strategic mgmt (horizontal or vertical integration) to accounts (budget) to General mgmt (Fayol, Taylor, Mintzberg) to CSR to Compensation. Research Methodology - basic qs
BOB questions were quite confusing. Hardly 2-3 on labour law. Mainly on Training, HRD, ethics.
