· Mr. Sanjeev it is very ridiculous from your part to ask Mr. Narasimhan to Keep quiet

· This is not a Froum for Pre KG students. It is a Professional Network.

· Of Late, we find members postings request that they need this, that etc.,

· If they get it readymade they are happy. If Not they puy the balem on the members.

· As a professional, why cant we do some homework in getting the material & then post it for help.

· Change Mgmt is huge area & there is a seperate section for the same in Citehr.

· I am fully with Narasimhan 100%.

· i never go by the profile or never want to make anyone feel great.

· Mr. Sanjeev instead of you pointing Mr. Narasimhan, you couald have given the required details & then u could ahve thought about pointing Narasimhan.

· I never giev readymade materials. I give only links.

· Also, understand if the material is given, the person will only stick to that & will NEVER think beyond thats. so by this u r making him handicapped..

· Only for any case study, for any problem, direct answers can be given... not for postings like this.

Hello Everyone,
Quite interesting...the whole debate. And where is our GREAT Mr. Kannan after his first posting? Vanished in thin air....?
And how does Mr.Sanjeev think he spent his time in seeing this thread, replying to it and, maybe, see all the other's responses to his comments--fruitful or wasted?
Unless we are sure that the person who makes the posting is SERIOUS about his/her query, would it be worthwhile to spend time to answer? If the attitude is: my time is ONLY important to me............God save such souls and ours' too.
And this is where Simhan's comments come........if the person [here it is Kannan, but there have been many earlier on CiteHR who vanish after posting] was serious, he/she would DEFINITELY have made a preliminary effort and said so. I am not sure if Sanjeev has better ideas of HOW TO JUDGE IF HE/SHE IS SERIOUS, except asking for the effort put in thus far.
I am sorry Sanjeev if my comments have hurt you....but calling a spade a spade is better than nice & deviating comments.
Rgds,
TS

I highly recomend a change leadership book called "Lessons from the Monkey King" on amazon, it is one of the best books on culture change i have ever read. it talks about creating the 5 pillars of change and the step by step process of doing that.
Here is the link to the book on Amazon: Amazon.com: Amazon.com: Lessons from the Monkey King: Leading Change to Create GORILLA-SIZED RESULTS: Arthur F. Carmazzi: Books
And you can get a soft copy from <link no longer exists - removed>
Hope this helps

I just happened to come across this discussion as the header interested me.
And I must say that I completely agree with both Asha and Simhan.
And Simhan, the saying that you have posted is this:
He who knows and knows that he knows is wise, follow him.
He who knows and knows not that he knows is asleep, wake him.
He who knows not and knows that he knows not is ignorant, teach him,
He who knows not and knows not that he knows not is a fool, ignore him.

I failed to understand what was the intial question and where it has landed up...
I think one need to focus on the main course rather than diverting the attention from the things.
Moreso, one should not pass on personal comments here as this is a professional site and knowledge gaining forum.....As far as Mr. Simhan goes ....I think being a Senior Moderator one needs to respect him and use his knowledge and gain guidance. Y not disturb him in private.....
