Hi Ruchii,

The succession planning – ensures the right employees are in the right place and right time and appraisals assists the organization in locating the right candidates who would take higher responsibilities in the organization over a period of time.

The appraisals and succession planning are closely linked by way of the current and past performance rating of the employees and the competency mapping.

The potential appraisal of the employees by the supervisors helps to identify the gaps and the relevant training requirements and proposed the assignments & job rotations within the organization to give them the exposure to meet the changing and increased level of standards set by the organization.

PA helps to judge the knowledge, skills, attitude and through mentoring and coaching to prepare them.

Wipro follows TRP process ( Talent Review and Planning) and conducts quarterly talent engagement and development reviews by which the talent pool is identified. These people are put on the fast track growth and provided challenging opportunities.
