Dear All friends,
I have a query regarding the contract labour Act. If the principal employer is a government organisation and the same is not registered with the Labour Deptt. as Principal Employer, how the contractor will obtain the Labour License.
Please provide necessary circular.

Dear Sheetal Gupta,
Take up the matter with the Principal Employer. What they are saying ? You are also right as without fulfilling the column of No. & date of registration in the application for contract labour licence, this will not be treated as complete in all respect.

Dear Sheetal gupta,
In these circumstances you take Form V form the Principal Employer & apply to the Licensing Officer under the CL (R&A) Act of your area for obtaining the licence in the prescribed application format along with the required licence & security fees & give intimation of the same to your P E accordingly.
Regards,
