How to motivate sales team ?
Hi seniors i need your valuable suggetion iam working in a it infrastructure providing company since last 2 months attrition rate has gone up seniors and executives for what ever reasons left. sales team is our core departmentevery qtr we come up with some new ideas and schemes in order to motivate sales team. in jas for 20 days taken more than 50of that qtr target for which our team could achieve and went for a week holiday sponsored from the company. for ond individual targets were given this team if acheived again we had a trip to overseas for a week but none could achieve. my business gm has asked me to come out with motivational factors or ideas to motivate our team members. 1give me some ideas how to know in advance which employee is planning to leave so that we can address his problemthough the employees left were not performing well this year. what are the various sources to find this? 2give me some new techniques to motivate the sales team. waiting for reply... viranchi

Motivation at workplace for support team
My query is about creating healthy and motivating team environment. scenarios is as below: its a support team in it company; work is related to support business applications and monitoring the it systems. 50 of team is long tenured and rest are recent hires of 1year. work is in shifts supporting round the clock challenges they feel its a monotonous work; no learning curve. people are willing to work on something new however its customer driven and nothing new can be offered in near future. they want to increase knowledge and skillsets however no action to achieve it due to lack of budgets incentives / bonus are stopped from a year no willingness to work in night shifts although there is shift allowances ask: what steps can be taken up in a support environment to motivate people

Hi friends i am new to this forum. i have recently joined a new company where the employees are not used to any kind of reporting system. last few months inspite of guiding them and giving them the templates ...it s not happening. they say they dont have time to do such things. my team does not understand the importance of reporting to management.they just do the work and have no measurment on thier own work. i need to motivate them and make them understand the reporting is must. need your suggestion. thanks mrs ram
