I requested for the strategies involved in recruitment.
I handle IT & nON it Requirements. We use job portal naukri. But somtimes it does not work , so i wanna know if there are other strategies .

Hi Nithya,
As u told you handle both IT & non-IT recruitments & u r using naukri job portal. yes somtimes only the job portals may not work. first thing i will suggest u to prepare a databank of profiles of different streams like IT,Finance,Marketing,Accounts. These profiles may be you get from your own references, friends, even people may come to your company/consultancy & drop their resumes where you are working, or your previously worked profiles which are not shortlisted. See if you have a databank with you then it would be easier for you to work on any job description by any of the client.
Another strategy would be suppose if you got a requirement of collecting the profiles of Marketing, then you can even take the help of your seniors & colleagues who had already worked on the similar kind of requirement & take the profile from them.
Also you can collect the profiles by directly calling to the companies.for example if you got a requirement from LIC for collecting the the profiles of Insurance people. Then you can do the head hunting by calling to the similar organizations like ICICI Prudential, ING Vaisya, HDFC Standard Life etc, & start collecting the profile by talking tactfully with the people & make them to think for job change by discussing the hike they may be getting in salary or good brand or senior position.
