Dear Ashraf,
I am trainer and conduct frequent team building workshops. The typical issues that come up from clients are:
team task over individual task. Each person in the team is happy about his contribution but fails to align it with team goals. How to prioritize individual members contribution to common objective?
Building open communication and trust among team members. This cannot happen unless people know each other beyond their roles.
Commitment and accountability towards each other and towards common goal. Team members are hesitant to confront each other on issues. Which brings in the issue of communication and trust.
These are some of the themes common across teams, so it's important to address some of these in every teaming program.
Should you need any clarification, feel free to write.
