Hi I would like to know what is the calculation for annual, sick and casual leaves. I need this urgently as I have to submit a report.:-P
there is no fixed rule of leaves in india and it varies from state to state and industry to industry . so there can not be fixed rules of leave in india. tks j s malik

I do completely agree wth Mr. Malik as there is no rule of leaves calculation etc. in India but depends upon company's internal policy as there are companies doing leaves calculation on basic also there are, doing calculation on CTC Hence the leaves calculation, their encashment & accumulation varies company 2 company & state 2 state.

Dear Friend
You have to check whether your company comes under shops and establishment act or factories act. then refer the act of the state where you are working or office is located. Leave rules will apply accordingly. Regarding the calculation part, CL and sick leave are not encashed and lapse at the end of the financial year. Annual Leaves calculation is done by dividing basic wage with 26 days or 30.45 whichever per day calculation method is being used in your company while wage calculation.
