Dear Seniors,
One of our employees constantly twists around everything I say to make the situation seem worse than it is.
For example, when I put her paycheck on the counter because she was busy, she told others that I threw it at her. She has lied about many incidents.
I have spoken with her several times and indicated that her actions are unprofessional and disrespectful.
This is not good for my reputation. I need a solution about how to deal with this employee.

Partho

Hey Partha,
Let me tell you... its
All in the words you use. J
It’s a magic.. try this
“Hey – I understand that, something what I did has made you feel bad about it. I am sorry, but trust me nothing was intentional. Only after you said that did I realize that my words were wrongly understood. Please don’t take it to heart. Nothing was menat the way you thought it to be J “
And still after this she is acting different – just ignore.
I also had a similar situation . . . I just mentioned – sorry, it was not meant in the way you thought it to be. She still grumbled.
It took her two months to get back to me and apologize. I still had no reaction – but told her that I did not take it in a hard way as she had mi understood everything J
Just leave it – after a while they will get back to you and be normal

Talk to her to sort things out. This move will be difficult, but you have to try it once. If you find yourself back to square one, then stop reacting to her behaviour - this will work sooner than later.
Good luck.

And I have no intention to point out anything. Its just my nature to be straight forward.I do find many similar posts here.
