it is not a big situation it is very simple matter do one thing raise two invoices with same number and just change the dates and give to the H.R and if they cannot accept the invoice for the last year you tell i am giving the bill for the last year in that and tell it is easy to change last years accounts also and there is no problem with changing the last year accounts just we completed financial year and we have not file tax returns for that we have more 4 months and it is possible to change or modify the accounts

Its doent matter..if finacial year closure has been done...Company has to pay you for the service they have taken..no one can deny that..
and also you can raise point
1.Why HR has delayed in providing invoice detail where agreed term is of 45 days
2.Show them the signed agreement ..if its not metion there that if finacial year end then they will not make any payment.
3.They cannot close the account just like that, they hav to keep in suspense account

AS per my suggestion, better you can talk to them once again explain about the situation. In case if it’s not possible final choice have to go along with them....
