Greetings!
I am looking forward for your suggestions in order to take up a SAP course in HR as I am looking for a job change.
I have total 7 years of working experience and post MBA (HR) is 4 years. It would really be great if you could suggest me a good and reputed institute/training center who can really train me on the technology or perhaps can help me out in changing a job as fast as possible.
I have received a call today from one training center based at Noida in Sector 2 who are offering me SAP training that would cost me approx. Rs.25K + taxes and are guaranting a job too (again they will be charging ; Once I receive an offer letter from the company they are going to place me with and when the company gives me an appointment letter, this training center would take my one month salary).
Before I go to meet them, I would really appreciate if you could me suggest me in this regard. What would be the best in this state?
I know and sure, this site has lots of seniors who are very knowledgeable and believe in helping/supporting.

i am a MBA(HR) candidate of final year. I read through your question. I would personally suggest you to look out for training centres which normally does not get money for posting into a company.
for training its ok but for job placement, go for direct placement, else they need to charge from employer directly.

It hardly matters you are having experience in SAP or not.. Ideally get in an organization, which has good HR practice and small in size & volume (easy to tab & get in) and slowly start on job learning.
These courses would give an idea of basics but no surety on 100% placements and end of the day these company melt money from your pocket its business afterall :).
Show some initiative and grab opportunity elsewhere may be at a lower level in a company which has ERP tools and I am sure gradually you will make it but the kind of experiece you will gain would be worth 100 times.

I would suggest not to go for any kind of courses wait for month or two. Lets this recession swips off. Don't take such decisions to leave a job and opt for a training. Do think twice b4 going for this....

Hi swapna, There are lots of people who lost their jobs and money & Time due to this sap. I am one among them don't leave your Present job sothat even if you don't get job also u will be safe. Actually in sap u have to work on a project so u can't get continuous work. u have to switch of jobs after completion of the projects. Instead of that join a company which want to implement SAP/ERP. For this you can join in a training center which is charging lesser fee.Befor joining any training center talk to their alumni.

I have personally seen such kind of cases who leave their job for some kind of training that is upgrade themselves and then lead to frustration.... placement guaranty nobody can give you .. if they give you have to accept whatever they are offering you... that means compromise..
