You decide now which area you prefer to do your Research Study. Management is vast subject. Let me know management of what?
Sales,? Employees? Recruitment? Attrition? Payroll? Grievance management? Labour litigation management? Management of Employee welfare? Management of outstanding Balance? Management of new product? Management of Lockout? Management of employee burnout?
Hope I confused you enough.
Decide you wan to do PhD what reason. Is it for your career growth? Or with Career growth you need to contribute to Society?
Selection of a subject is one difficulty, but getting a good guide is luck.
Have few more ideas and attain clarity.
Any support you need on your way, reach me,

Hi Dr. Sandeep,
I am also an aspirant for enrolling myself into a PhD program in HR from a university of repute. I wish to pursue PhD for brighter career prospects in academics. It is because, I possess nearly 7 years of experience in management teaching, especially in the field of HR and soft skills. My last teaching stint was with ICFAI Business School, Bhubaneswar
With regards to my specialization, I enjoy an expertise in OB and hR. I am quite passionate about leadership development or emotional intelligence. Can u plz guide me on the suitable areas of focus or the topics in which i may concentrate for my PhD.
Looking forward to ur reply on this.

Dear Friends,
It is time consuming to type and explain what Research topic you can select. And the same explanation may not help anyone to clarify all doubts.
After entering into CiteHR we all belong to CiteHR family. My personal view is any CiteHR family member can contact another member without second thought. So Contact me through Phone from 9AM to 5 PM, to clarify their doubts. If I am not in the meeting and If I know, I can tell you the details, If I do not know I can learn from you.
Lets learn from many.

Dear Dr. Sandeep and Narasimhan,
Thank u so much for ur valuable ideas and ur efforts in clarifying my query. Mr. Narasimhan, as rightly suggested by you, I did had an access to emerald insight journal when i was in my job with IBS. But, at present I have taken a break from a full time job for taking care of my 1 year old baby.
I know that emerald can be a vital source of literature for me. My question is, can i still have access to all the subject based articles from emerald if i select certain abstracts and request you for a complete article by coordinating with the respective authors. If yes, how to facilitate this. plz revert back with your opinion on this.
Regards

Dear Jyothi,
I cannot give copies of articles in my capacity as the Regional Advisor for emerald in India. If you write to the authors informing them as to why you need a copy of their articles, they usually oblige. I have had copies of articles from academics writing in other journals published by Emerald's competitors.
If you have worked previously at IBS, do you not have friends who can do a favour for you? I have been to IBS in Bangalore, Calcutta (Kolkata), Hyderabad and Goa., to conduct Author workshops on behalf of Emerald.
Best wishes.
Narasimhan
PS: Please feel free to drop me private messages. I am guiding 3 students pursuing PhD in India and if you want I can put you in touch with them. I am thinking of getting all the students that I guide into a group mail system. At a later stage we could even use Skype/Yahoo Messenger to hold a conference.
