Hi,
This is a conversion ratio
No of Interview : Offer
Offer: Appointment
Interview: appointment
Calculation is like this.
Eg. Total candidates attended interview: 50
Offered employment: 10
Offer accepted: 5
Interview / offer ratio:10/50*100 = 20%
Offer/acceptance ratio: 5/10*100 = 50%
Hope this helps

Hi Yashsva,
It definitely helps an HR to prove the worth. Since it reflects on following factors like the HR's soft skills of displaying his/her company image, acceptance of ur company by people outside in similar industry, reasons as to why people will join by taking their induction interview(more the number of new joinees better the feedback), It also reflects the skill of negotiation & convincing skill used by the HR while dealing with candidates, Incase the % of new joinees is less compared to the offers then we should sense some problem & conduct an Introspection, This also gives us inputs on how are company is percieved, how the salary structure is percieved compared to the market, what attracts candidates.
All these always needs to be thought about by the HR.
