Hi all,
Need some information on Gratuity...
I resigned from an international BPO after working for 5.5 Yrs...
1. Am I eligible for gratuity and if yes what is the amount I am entitled to?
2. I do not remember filling up any form for claiming it so will the company pay the gratuity amount itself?
3. What is the procedure for either claiming or getting this amount?
4. How does a company pay it to its ex employees?
Please help me with my queries..
Thanks in advance.

dear
most of company pay gratuity at the time of your full and final settlement.you are eligible to get gratuity but i dnot understand why company has not paid.you go and talk to them.legally it should be paid after one month byfilling a form but all company pay at the time of full and final.
you will get 15 days salary for ever year of service.
basic salary*15*number of years of service/26 --this is the procedure for calculating gratuity.
tks
