Dear All, We experience frustration in life a good many times and most often it is because of people and the way we deal with people.Effective leaders know how to motivate people and what motivates whom?The difference between good leadership & poor management is the same as motivation & manipulation .Motivation is what an individual wants to do while manipulation is what you want the individual to do.In order to motivate effectively one has to be aware of E.Q.-emotional quotient It is the understanding and managing of one's emotions as also that of others.Here empathy & self-awareness are both equally important.



The 5 characterstics of E.Q.are :-



1.Self-Awareness -To be aware of self to guide in decision -making and the ability to know who you are.

2.Self-Regulation - To regulate your emotions to srur you on towards desired results.

3.Motivation - To have the inner drive to pursue your goals.

4.Empathy - Being sensitive towards others & their feelings.

5.Social Skills - To study social situations and adapt, to your advantage.
