Hi, What kind of system do construction companies follow for performance management of unskilled Labours or construction workers. Seniors please help. Regards, Abdulla
Usually for unskilled workers, companies will go for a simple appraisal form with set of performance attributes and ratings. Appraiser and Reviewer will perform review and put ratings and reviewer rating will be final. Based on that company will give salary hike or benefits or incentives
Eg:- Attendance can be one performance attribute. You can rate employee using a 4 point scale ( Poor, Average, Good, Exemplary)
For companies with more than 500 people, it is a very time consuming activity if the process is not linked to Management Information System
Performance management process is the need of the hour and companies across the glob are trying to implement the same.
