Hi
If this kind of sitution happens to me, I will be behaving very cool infront of him i.e., I will act such a situtaion not happens to me. I will try to avoid him all the time unless there is no work. My best suggestion is your boss has to leave the company or you have to.....because whenever you see him, you could remember only this event only....

Hi,

To underline all the comments you should be very careful in your work everytime if there is a demand to interact with your boss.. Also you need to be frim and behave professionally not giving room for any bad instances. If this still continue then you need to either escalate the issue to the higher authorites if you can fight the case or better look for better opportunity rather then undergoing the trauma..
All the best..

HI AKS

I agree with Raj on the above issue...at my org a similar thing is happening but with totally different intentions. My HR Manager is 32 and the Director is 58!! both married and with good partners and beautiful children..but in my office the manager (lady) is using the opportunity to illegitimately climb the ladder with short cut promotions with no work at all. She reaches office half n hr late n leaves one hr. early frequently during the month.and on top of tht gets special permission in mails from the director tht it was due to family responsibility. in office she i have seen her mostly surfing thru e cards sites which she sends to the director, and i have proof of that. they go out for lunch as well as shopping twice a week and extend the same from 1 hr lunch break to 2>5 or 3 hrs!!! she also makes std calls to her hometown from the office phone in the director's cabin, even whn he is around..there are many more things that happen b/w them,,which is not woth being written here.. but the ultimate result is that I as well as the other person int the HR team work like donkeys and dont get a good feedback..while this lady manager walks off with quarterly pay hikes of 40- 50% in every 6 months!!
but on the other side the staff of my org see this lady as a person who can stoop to any level for getting things her way..so you see dear..everybody has to pay a price...if not the right way...then the wrong way.. its only you who has to decide what is better for you..no amount of advice will help!!!

AKS is in dear need of this job.
AKS has no alternative but to continue with same job.
AKS is needy.
AKS cannot find another job.
AKS is traped under Boss's lust for her.
AKS is victim of Sexual harrashment.
AKS is under psychological pressure to continue job and beware of Boss's intention.
AKS should not give any chance to his boss and protect her integrity.
AKS should protect herself from Boss's retaliation.
AKS should be defensive and defend her job first.

For Bad looser:
Dear Mr. badlu, this is for your kind information that, This is not a personal problem, rather a serious matter on workpalce harrassment and sexual harrassment which needs to be discussed and solved.
I really doubt if you really have 18 yrs of experience (as you mentioned earlier in this post) and are not aware of the acts and laws on prevention of sexual and workplace harrassment. And not only govt. also all organisations have policies to prevent sexual harrassment.
If you don't wish to give any valuable suggestions then better you keep silent, but don't pass worthless and afflictive comments.
Dear AKS,
You speak professionally with your boss and explain him that you got hurt by his proposal and he is not at all appreciable.

Pritesh you are 100% right....Dear AKS, by making lot of hue and cry you will only makes the situation worse and also the co-workers will be the first to laugh at your back.do you think any other employee will support you against theis boss?..no way...so deal with such situations very calmly and have a clear communication with the boss...make him understand that you are not at all interested in him..all the best...

Hey AKS
Always keep smiling and dont take your GM words seriours if it is first time, just ignore him. But if he is repeating things then say him frankly that very soon your getting engaged with a person or you have got some one in your mind. If such haresment policy is not there in your organisation, why dont you ask your GM itself to frame one.

Dear Panda,
You did not read her subject properly and my 18 years experience I read well and interprete as well.
AKS has raised one issue" Boss Proposed Her"
Whats wrong? Tomarrow I will proposed her or anybody can propose her if he has desire for her.
REMEMBER AGE IS ONLY NUMBER.......
She did not complaint that she is being harrashed for sexual favour or treated badly by her Boss?
This is what's the difference experience makes my friend.

thnx 2 all the citehr members for their valuable suggestions.1 thing needs to be clarified.here many of the fellow members have felt that this is a personal prob & so citehr is not a site to discuss these issues.
the prob has been raised in d forum as this is a professional prob.its a breach of professional ethics & d person who has done is d person who is supposed to maintain & preach d lesson of ethics at d org.
