Unathorised absent marked in payroll by manager
I am working in bank i have taken leave for my mothers illness and branch has provided me 1 month leaves thereafter i again demanded for extention of leave as mothers condition is serious but branch manager does not provide extention of leave even providing medical certificate to manager he has marked unauthorised absent in payroll now what should i do so that it will be treated as no work no pay only.
Maternity benefit for adhoc employee in delhi govt hospital
Hello friends and respected seniors i need urgent advice of urs i m a doctor and working in one of delhi govt hospitals on adhoc basis my contract is of 89 days and is renewed after break of one day i m working in hospital from 31st october 08 and twice my contract has been renewed d latest extention is till 26th july 09. i m pregnant and is my expected date of delivery is 25 july 09 am i eligible for d maternity benefit leave under d maternity benefit act 1961? as my last working day is 26th july 09 according to current extention order i want to avail maternity leave from 25th june 09 at this date i will be working for this hospital from approx. 8 months in d preceding 12 months can it be possible? if i m eligible how will it be materialised? currently d administration is providing maternity paid leave to adhoc employee only if she has her due date with in her extention period eg. currently a nurse delivered a baby while she had 2 months left in her current extention period so they gave her 2 months paid leave but now she will hv to join n work. my case is worse as my due date is 25th july09 and my last working day is on 26th july09 so according to administration i wont be getting any leave in such a case what shd i do plz guide me i need urgent help n guidance of urs. i will be much obliged. thank u in anticipation
Extention of notice period
Dear members ours is a it services small company and we have an employee who has joined us in november 2014. however had taken more than 30 leaves with an year till date due to frequent sickness and an operation. we currently provide with 21 leaves in an year i.e. 1.75 leaves per month. for this employee the leaves that extended more that the available leaves in quota were deducted from salary on prorate basis. now the employee has suddenly resigned with the reason that her spouse is shifting to other state and needs to move with him. can we ask the person to extend her tenure with us up to the days for which she has received paid leaves ? what does the law say in case of more than 21 leaves in an year? please suggest.

Notice period issue - getting notice period extention
Hi all i have a doubt regarding notice period. if an employees falls sick during notice period and doesn t come to office for 30 days does his notice period gets extended accordingly? or else what can be done to handle this situation? please advice regards nagarajan sekar
