But due to current market scenario, i had to lose my job. Therefore for the last two months i am desperately looking for a job but not able to find. Even i am interested in doing freelancing work/work from home. If anybody has help me out in this matter. I'll be very much thankful.

hi rupa,
in HR field, jobs are a big problem as in Indian scenario management doesnot believe that HR is really necessary.
they always think that HR is there only for recruitment and salaries.
as in your context, since your work experience is very less (I mean to say in the profile) as you are only handling recruitment, induction only so there are very less opportunity for you in the market.
secondly u have experience only in IT sector so in manufacturing sector this experience will not count or if conunted it will be very less as the working conditions are totally different.
at this time i will suggest you to approach to the recruitment consultancies where you can get full time jobs as well as freelancing also. so try for this opportunity.
and if you get then try to handle the recruitment of manufacturing industry so that in near future you can get opportunity in some of the manufacturing company.

Yes HR is only recruitment , salaries and other things because because because till now I havent seen any company practising REAL HR ,,,

all my friends working in MNC and other big companies always complain of workload, and are working minimum 10 - 12 hours a day.

What those HRs of CMM Level Companies are doing, While discussing with Department Heads and while planning cant they plan a 8 Hr fixed schedule. Like every school leaves at sharp time, every college closes at fixed time, why dont these offices close at fixed time,

All the people fresh graduates n PG are working n earning handsome salaries but on their face n while chatting with them I hear one word WORKLOAD, such thing I never heard from my father, or from the before generation, and during their time, they never had a HR department still were happy with their jobs..

Because of these reasons sometimes I feel there is more HR in Govt ORganisations than in Pvt, but even in Govt workload has increased now.

So tell me where exactly is UR HR,,, dont give blunt copy pasted replies... in INDIA ,, there is not at all a proper way to manage HR dept, one gets in HR and rest company filled with their friends n relatives, misuse of power by HR is always done, like a banana in monkeys hand. What your HR did or is doing ? apart from recruitments, salaries, did u ever thought employee needs to go at correct time, what hell u think of employees as slaves??

Dear All,
Thanks to all for their valuable suggestion. One thing i would like to make clear is that i m not only handling recruitment, induction...even i am handling leave mgmt. system, appraisal process ( from sending forms to the final step like promotion, increment whatever.), started taking exit interviews, employee grievances, doing engagement activities to boost up the morale of the employees..like going out for a picnic/movie, celebrating b'days, conducting gossip session after every 15 days....even planning to conduct employee satisfaction survey.....daily i send motivation quotes to all employees in the morning....
Pls suggest, what else i can do.....
Thanks
