Punjab Govt. in its notification dated July 3, 2015 made compulsory to pay wages by bank transfer or cheque, which is not physically possible, because in small firms/companies employing 10 to 20 persons, who are getting about 6 to 10 thousands per month are always in need of money of smaller amount, which may differ from Rs 100 to 1000/-, which had been given through their supervisors may not be able to deduct on the payment day, if payment made by cheques/bank transfers.
What would be effect if it is not comply with?
