Hi everyone :)
Just today i got my results for my PGDBA-HR. I did thru distance mode from Symbiosis.Completed my BSc.IT before this.Working as HR executive am getting practical exposure in Hr activities too.
I believe learning is a continous process and want to continue my studies further.I am so used to studying along with job that these days I feel so empty without it. I try to keep myself updated through HR forums and magazines etc.
Please guide me what all options are available for further studies in area of HR. any short term diplomas or certifications? Anything which can help to enhance my HR career. What do mostly companies look for in a HR professional?
Kindly do help!!!
Waiting for all the responses and suggestions..

Learning never ends. In my workshops I always point out that the learning cycle is from the womb to the tomb !
Since your caption is what after MBA ? may I add after MBA we need MBWA ?
Management by walking around. !! Very aften after our MBAs Managers do not walk around and get proper feed back or be visible. This ultimately leads to a poor image of the Professional. So while you pursue higher studies please also remain in touch with workforce- Ultimately HR is Human Rhythm.

Many thanks to you Sir,
I agree with what you say.. especially about being visible. I remember while working on Training and Development project in a hospital, we were not able to find out where we are lacking and in just few simple words Director of the company lead us saying.. "Always make your presence felt". I would always keep your words with me as it being invaluable.
Still I would appreciate if you could guide me about the options I can take up for studies..

Hi All,
I had gone through earlier posts on the website.. Read somewhere about courses in Employee Psychology..
Have been trying to find out about it but no results..
