Hi All,
Need your valuable suggestion and kind help in withdrawing my PF from the last employer.
1. I worked with a MNC in Delhi for 5 and half years now I am settled in Darjeeling...have my own business...so do I need to go to Delhi PF office for withdrawing the PF? Can this be done through any regional office based in W.B? Or can anyone submit the form in PF office Delhi on my behalf?
2. Do I also need to produce unemployed certificate?
3. Any other relevent information that I need to know or do in order to withdraw my PF.
Please help me and I shall be really grateful...
Thanks and Regards

dear
it is not necessary to u to go to delhi and persue for PF withdrawl.however it is to be withdrawn from delhi only.you take PF withdrawl for no 19 and 10 c sign on it with revenue stamps and attach your bank details/present address etcv and forwardm the same to your known person in delhi who can get it filled from last employer and deposit the same in RPFC office.

Hi Mr. Malik
Thank you for your response...and kind suggestion.
I have the forms with me and it asks for the thumb impression in the presence of a signing authority..that has got me confused....
And I have heard that one also needs to produce Unemployed certificate...
And what is this NSSN( National Social Security Number) all about?
Kindly enlighten me on these issues as well..
Thanks and Regards

Dear Gyanu,
Dnot Get confused? After Completing the Withdawal Form, get ur signature verified from your bank where you need your money to be transfered with a address proof. The amount may be transfered directly to your Bank under with an intimation letter to you or the Cheque could be opted.
Best way to contact the Regional PF Office - Jalpaigudi [EPFO OR EPFO <link updated to site home> ] for better clarifications, instead of getting confused .
I AM SURE YOU NEED NOT GO TO DELHI, BUT YOUR FORM HAS TO GO THROUGH THE PREVIOUS EMPLOYER FOR SIGNATURE VERIFICATIONS. AND THERE MUST BE GAP OF 2 MONTHS BEFORE APPLYING FOR WIDHDRAWAL!!!!
Hope this would help?

Hi Dear,
There is no need for you to get panic for PF withdrawal. As suggested by Mr. Malik, do take the form fill it along with signature and revenue stamp. and then get it signed from your organisation and submit there only. As generally in MNC they have have people visiting to such offices and they will themselves will be submitting your form, and hopefully in a month or two you will be receving your money in your saving bank account, which you will be mentioning on your PF withdrawal form.
No thumb impression required
No Unemployed certificate required, as they will be deducting some amount in the form of tax and rest amount will be given to you which will totally tax free.
NSSN( National Social Security Number) is applicable in U.S only as each individual has social security number for identification. so no worries
I have personally withdrawn PF amount twice from my last organisations.
Dont worry and enjoy you tax free amount.

Hi,
As per your querry u don't have need 2 go your old office.
You just take Form No. 9 & Form No. 10 C from your local PF Office and send it to your company's address where you worked. Further formalities they shall do and your amount will be directly credited into your given A/cs details.

Hi Anisha,
There is no need to panic, just follow the procedure. in case the revenue stamp is not available in bangalore. there are two things that you can do.
1. either you speak to the concerned person in your previous organisation and share your problem.
2. you can contact someone else (friend or a relative) to send a revenue stamp to you and you can fix it and send the form
if none of this work you can send a mail to me with your address and with how many revenue stamps and of what cost is required. I will courier you from Delhi.

hope this will work.
