Is there a difference in the scope of Industrial Relations (IR) and Human Resources (HR)

I would like to know the scope of Industrial Relations (IR) in IT sector. Does IR come under HR only or it is a different area? If they are indeed different, what is the scope of HR & IR differently?

Hi Nidhi, IR is seprately required mainly in manufacturing units or where labour class forms most of the workforce. In IT mainly there wont be any labour class, HR can deal in IR issues if any.
