Hi all i have posted this query in other thread but didnt get any response.i have few more doubts about payment of bonus act: list penalty of non payment of bonus is 6months imprisonment or fine up to 1000 as per the act.is it the updated one? which department is responsible for maintaining register or record for available or allocable surplus? is it hr or accounts? is it acceptable if a company pays 8.33 of 3500 to employees whos basic is less than 10000 without maintaining any register or record for available or allocable surplus? which gov. dept. can enquire for payment of bonus? shops & establishment inspector? or sales tax officer? look forward for experts opinion.
Non payment of statutory bonus under bonus act - what can the company do now?
Please clarify the following query regarding applicability of payment of bonus. if the company has been incorporated in 2010 and has been under loss till 2017 the still does it need to pay bonus under payment of bonus act to all employees drawing a basic salary below 10 k and 21k. if the company is liable to pay bonus but has not paid such amounts then what recourse does it have with the applicable penalty if any. what can the company do right now to ensure past compliance is adherence. please clarify as it is an urgent matter.
Query on bonus payment
I know that as per the bonus act salary limit for bonus is rs.10000/. however my company is paying bonus for all the employees above the salary of rs.10000/. my query is can the resigned employee claim the bonus in this situation? kindly advise me please?
