I am going to join as AM - HR in a new retail industry. This industry is having 15 employees in their company and they do not have any PF number. Kindly tell me the procedure to get the PF number.

It is helpful to me also. But my situation is bit different please guide me for the same.
I am working as HR in It comapny at Pune which is registered last month only. Strength of the employees are 20. and our total pay per month is 170000. basic of the employee is between 4500 - 7500. and we have 5 trainees to whom we are giving stipend. so please let me know do we need to deduct PF from employee or not?
And if yes than the form which you had sent earlier can i use the same one or not?

Hi Acc to EPF & MISC.PROVISION ACT the scheme is applicable to your organisation since there are 20 employees...for further information you can go through EPF & MISC.PROVISION ACT 1952

The PF registration is subject to no of employees in the organisation. if the company have twenty employees, you require to register as for the following procedure.
1.fill form I along with PF proforma.
2.you have to submit the details of your directors.
3.Copy of memorandam of articles
4. Company PAN card and Current account number.
5. DD for contribution of 20 members for that particular month.
submit the above to PF enforsement for code allotment.
Further if any company have twenty employees irrespective of nature of employement i.e. tainee, apprentice is reuired to go for registration and pay contribution only for eligible employees.

Dear madam, The eligibility for obtaining PF code is minimum 20 employees. Pls refer PF act Misc Provisions act 1952. Rgds, Sanjeev
