Hi,
You need to try more than one mode for hiring . Like employee referrals , being in touch with efficient manpower recruitment consultancy, using online job portal, job fairs (costly though ) , campus recruitment .
Based on the nature of opening you will have to choose the best option .
All the best.
Thanks,
Nazneen

Currently iam using all the techniques like, employee referrals, referrals from employees coming for interviews and job portals, ads in news papers. though i must accept that our company requirements are a bit niche', I can't give the same answer to my boss. I just wanted to know if anyone knows a better way of talent acquisition. may be through some network or so. pls suggest.
regards

Hi,
I think techniques like Headhunting and Internal Referral System are very useful, but also try using sites like linkedin and Orkut. Also make sure you take references from the candidates that are already been interviewed.
