If you want to take HR audit as a project I suggest work for 1 month as a trainee in HR audit section to really add value to yourself. HR audit is a part of technical HR and unless you really undertstand it the output will not be satisfied. Read T V Rao's book on HR audit to get the basic idea.

I work in a IT firm (Service Industry) .I just have one year experience in HR field and working here as an HR Co-ordinator.
I have worked on the New Joinee Process, Exit Process, Some times gives Induction and have worked on the Trainig program for 1 to 2 years of experienced employees of our organization.
Now I wanted to now what else can I do for the i) Employee benefit and Satisfaction ii) Secondly for the business .Certainly these two reasons will help me grow in my career also.
