Snehalata I would suggest you to resign and look for new job, instead of inviting more troubles by digging this forward.

Hi,
Do one thing, write a clear cut email (short and to the point) with the subject "Save the Loyalty in the company" and send it across to all the Board Members, Mentors & Legal & Compliances Officers of the Company. Let them also be aware of the facts and figures that has led to this problem with you. Today you have been victimised tomorrow any of your collegue with be a sufferer. Bring the culprit to the books and teach him lesson. Remember, if you have knowledge and guts you will surely find new job but one thing is for sure once you leave this company after closing this chapter, perhaps you will have a feeling of being a WINNER and that will be a precedent for others.

Dear Snehalata

I have gone thru this thread. I thought I will skip as many have given you proper advces. But what made me to halt and respond was your remark.." 369 views and only 20 replies"

In one of your responses you had also claimed that you have seen the organisation's growth from 2000 employees to 4000 employees.

My advice:

Resign and keep moving

But your requirement

You want someone to advise you to take the management to task. Eventhough you are not claiming that this is your requirement, you keep asking for advice...inspite of many advices as I have done here to resign and go.

There are only two actions that could be taken here
1. Resign and keep moving
2. Fight back with the company

Why do you think that all 369 should have interest in you. Closer to 8% of those who have viewed have given advices which is good. But you want attention. You long for attention all the time.

If someone needs to give a proper final advice, then we need all relevant informatin like....Companys name, your complete details, what exactly happened, and so on. Please remember that all advices here are given based on only your version and we support you blindly . You must always remember that there is another version to this...that is your boss' version.

Let me share....most people have undergone some problem or the other in their career.

Life is not full of roses....... these roses have thorns too. Some have the skill of collecting these roses without getting hurt by these thorns but many get hurt at times. You got hurt this time....take this as a lesson....you will never get hurt in your life if you could correct these errors.

wishing you good luck , prosperity and great career

Hi Snehalata,

I have read all the advises and found one thing very surprising that no body has mentioned about the companies rights, that what action company can take. You might feel little hard but this is the truth. Since all the companies has a written manual on 'code of ethics' and as confirmed by you, your boss has already convinced the senior management about your bad performance and rudebehaviour. In this case, company can legally terminate you on grounds on unethical behaviour and under-performance. Also, if company feels that you can 'in any ways' spoil the culture of organization, company has all the rights to terminate your services with immediate effect without giving any notice period. In your case, since company has asked you to resign, you have upper hand.

Market condition is worst and it is really difficult to get another good job in short span of time. What is happening to you is part and parcel of professional life. I suggest you to have a meeting with any of the senior person in your company and try to convince him that there are differences of opinion in between you and your boss and ask for the change in any other function and show your willingness to work with the same company.

Always talk good about the company and same time by using any strategy also try to come in good terms with your existing boss.

Always, one can fight with one or more individual bu can not fight with one function or organization.

Can you disclose, you company is into which sector?

Hi Sneha,
Its really hard to digest this kind of situation due to politics in the organisation...
Dont wait for anything... If a comapny wants to terminate their emp. then they go to any extent...
Dont hurt ur self-respect... U shouldnt feel guilty as its not ur mistake at all...
Based on ur talent u should be getting jobs easily...
Right now its important that u have confidence on urself... trust ur talent...have faith on GOD... I know its easier to say all this things.... But trust me come out of it & move on....
All the best.... God Bless...
Would b glad to help u in anyway...

Dear Snehlata,
Mr.Narayana moorthy once said "Dont Love your company,Love your job becoz you wont know when your company will stop loving you".So relax & analyse yourself & the situation you have gone through.Though it is stressfull it might give some insights.Never give backdated resignation.Ask for explantion as to why you have been asked for backdated resignation.Refer your appointment order, terms & conditions & quote the same to HR.Dont be guilty if you are not wrong.Speak with your collegues & walk out with dignity.

You have gone through the situation and know how it feels to be part of such a culture everyday. Ultimately, you are responsible for your actions. Remember you have long years of career in front of you. You will definitely meet same people in future. Also, companies will ask for reference checks. Better not burn the bridges. Best is have heart to heart talk with your senior, explain what and why it happened. Listen to them. Let the misunderstanding be out. People are biased and sometime prejudice taken precedence to fair treatment.
Explain what you have gone through and why you are upset. If nothing it will give you clarity what went wrong. Ask specific questions do they really think it was case of no return. What you can do to improve the situation or how to handle such things in future. Also, ask will someone give references to you.

I am sure, if presented correctly, you case would be heard emphatically, you will get answers to the questions you have.

It may seem impossible, but you grow up a more mature individual when you are over with it.
