Human Relationship - A story to share . . .

Sometimes we spend time asking who is responsible or who to blame, whether in a relationship, in a job or with the people we know. We miss out some warmth in human relationship to give each other support. Treasure what you have. Just a little story for you . . .

A boy was born to a couple after eleven years of marriage. They were a loving couple and the boy was the apple of their eyes. When the boy was around two years old, one morning the husband saw a medicine bottle open. He was late for work so he asked the wife to cap the bottle and keep it in the cupboard. The mother, preoccupied in the kitchen totally forgot the matter.

The boy playfully went to the medicine bottle and, fascinated with its color, drank it all. It happened to be a poisonous medicine meant for adults in small dosages. When the child showed signs of poisoning the mother took him to the hospital, where he died. The mother was stunned. She was terrified how to

face her husband. When the distraught father came to the hospital and saw the dead child, he looked at his wife and uttered just four words.

QUESTIONS:

1. What were the four words ?

2. What is the implication of this story ?

Check with the answers only after you have tried to come up with your own.

ANSWER:

- The husband just said "I Love You Darling" . . .

- The husband's totally unexpected reaction is proactive behavior. He is indeed a genius in human relationships. The child is dead. He can never be brought back to life. There is no point in finding fault with the mother. She had also lost her only child. What she needed at that moment was consolation and sympathy from the husband. That is what he gave her.

If everyone can look at life with this kind of perspective, there would be much fewer problems in the world.

To be happy with a man you must understand him a lot and love him a little.

To be happy with a woman you must understand her a lot and love her with all your heart.

Hi Lalita
that was a good story.life wud really b less complex if people use empathy n get into the other person's shoes before any action. TA is a gud means to understand the complexities of human interactions...its simple 2 understand yet difficult 2 implement....bt nonetheless with conscious efforts-definately one can assume matery in human dealings.

Hai,
Thanks for remainding the story .
People in a company try to find fault with others bcos they fear that they will risk the job . This speaks about the culture of the organisation too.
Emulating good culture will make one's worklife very happy and enjoyable.

:) Hi Lalita,
Once again I disagree with you.
To be happy with a man you must understand him a lot and love him a little.
WHY????
Why you said to love a man little!!! Why you make gender discrimination?? Why women need more love than men?
I've no doubt that well human relationship will driven us for a better and prospective life but why you given a statement with gender biasness?
Best regards,

Yo Lalitha, great story. The hubby was probably one cold clinical guy. okay all that altruistic justification apart, I think his wife would wallop him for such out of place endearments. All of us need to vent in extreme emotional crisis. That is generally the law of nature and one needs to define the limits of what is considered an empathetic act. The story draws a thin line between that and insensitivity.
PS. Men and women just need to have a ball and its up to each to decide how and what. Expectancies are real bummers.

Death is not your office job! It is not your daily work!
Keep Quiet and say nothing!, becuase situation is shocking!, Sometimes quietness is louder than words.
It seems some Mental or Psychological Problem with the hero!, This even doesn't fit in our Movies!

Men are just like stones you just need to know where an how to fix them properly, they will stand by themselves wheras women are like small plant which needs to be handled by care care care and they will deliver the best and trust me you wont repent.
Please correct me if iam wrong.
