Hi i am new in to this hr field wanted to know details 1. an organization with less than 10 employees have no leaves for them and any leave taken can be deducted in the wages even contract basis will they have leaves 2. what are the advantages of contract employees over permanent in smaller firms software consulting 3. what is the maximum probation period and during this period are they entitled for leaves.

Hi all i am working at an it company which has a stremgth of 120 employees. there is no system here to track the various leaves taken by the employees in the organization at the moment. i need help as to how i can go about devising such a system to enable me to track leaves and maintain a record for the same to assist payroll. moreover can someone give me clarifications on the various types of leaves?? is al allowed leave? i know cl and sl are casual leave and sick leave respectively. what is wp?? is co compensatory leave? how are all the different kind of leaves decided on in terms of a number limit for the year?? awaiting early reply : regards jharna

General leave policies in it firm
Hi guys recently i have joined as hr in an it firm which is a private limited company. they want to keep the leave policies simple so they have kept just 2 categories for now. 1 leaves for which employees are paid 2 leaves for which employees are not paid. employees can take 1 leave each month in which salary is not deducted. we want to restructure leave policy which can restrict employees from taking more leaves by keeping it simple as it is. do anyone is having a proper documentation on same? help is appreciable. thanks arysh
