Dear All,

Thank's in advance for reading this thread,I am newbie in this thread,I don't know if any body had this same kind of situation.I am Ramesh of 28 yrs I worked for a BPO Company Till i was terminated from the company on June 15 2008 the grounds of Indisplinary action.I nearly worked for more 2 yrs.The reason for i am being terminated is that i used another person login to visit website.The management kept a enquiry meeting and i accepted that i have used that particular person's login by giving a apology letter.So they issued Show cause notice to me and they terminated me on Jun 15 2008.The company has given Me Such a good Working environment and facility i spoiled due to my indisciplned behaviour.The problem is that they have not issued me releving letter.When i tried to contact Hr person they said they will not issue releving letter as i was terminated.I am not saying that i a good guy i did that due my stupidity.As Hr peoples u know how important is a relieving order.I am not fresher to my age.I have been thriving for 5 months to get into some job till date i have not got any job because i do not having relieving order.My family is in deep financial crisis i want to get in some good mnc company as they only will pay good package,But they will ask for relieving letter which i don't have, even if i manage to get into some company they will ask for reference from previous company. As hr Person'swhat will your suggestion .I am ashamed of my act and i have thought to end my life but don't want to because that is mere stupidity.I am very much dejected because all my classmates are earning a good package and they all are settled in life But i don't have good job.Please help me to find a solution

Dear Ramesh,

First of all "Stop Abusing yourself saying "Stupid, Useless, etc". Not Everyone is a saint nor perfect in this world. Or are all criminials. Its good that you have accepted that "you did a mistake" and you do repent for it.

Using another person's logon n visitin a inappropriate website was definitely not wise and was bad on your part. Dont get dejected now. Past is Past.

Remember one thing, For every Problem there is a definite Solution. Since now u require a job and ur family is in finanical crisis. U can Make up for the past by the either of the following:

1) joining at present a company which doesnt require your relieving or experience certificate and work for them.
2) Try Speaking personally to the concerned HR dept personnel and convince them in gettin your experience certificate.
3) In case there is no relieving or experience certificate, you might be having your payslips in your hand isnt it? Then y dun u use that as a proof for ur next employment.
4) If u r gonna try only in MNC's they would definitely have a background verification done and you will be exposed. So better get into small concern as of now. And prove yourself there.


Dont waste your time whining over the past. None is perfect. It takes a great deal to accept your fault. N you have done your part of asking pardon. Leave the rest to Almighty.

Dear Ramesh,
You have done mistake and accepting it as well, it's never too late to change and rectify your mistakes.
Best way to deal with this situation is to work on your skills set , get good and decent job on the basis of the same , and show some proof of your employment like payslip or something , and disclose the truth , i think if they are really good company and HR they will understand the truth like we guys in this forum are understanding.
Think about it , and do revert in case you still have any ambiquity about the same.

My suggestion to you would be that try to convince your HR Department I committed a mistake but I honestly and sincerely admitted it...As a regard for honesty and truthfulness my relieving letter should be given to me inspite of being sacked being punishment for non-compliance to rules and regulations. Since you never cooked stories or try to defend yourself being wrong or passing on the bugs to other you admitted your mistake hence to reward you honest you should get your relieving letter. Try to amicably arrive at a solution with them rather than getting frustrated.
Try to approach their senior and request them and ask for a help.....

Ramesh,
Don't think that only tat exp. certificate will help you to get a job. Place your cv onl jobsites and show your appointment letter/offer letter & payslip of ex-employer, if any, to the interviewer.
If have good skills, emplyer will not consider your exp. certificates as necessary as you think.
Keep doing hardwork.

Dont got frustrated, finding a job is not difficult, but finding the job of a choice is slightly, You may need to wait for a long ,so its upto you if you want a quick job or wish to wait, My Suugestion is that get any available job in HR Consultency,Recruitment company , outsourciing comapnies, mini call centres etc where ref check doesn not really matters.
Secondly try to keep a mail track of your request mails to HR ( for issuing your Exp. certifiacte and releiving letter ) , send a request mail every after 15 days to them , then try to mark a cc to other Team leaders, Business Heads, VP alos in subsequent mails, and even if this does not work out, forward the entire bunch of mails to CEO/ MD of the company just for his information and necessary action.

what i would suggest is get into a small firm, they do not go for reference checks they wud just see your Appointment letter and you can show your salary slips.. N in the interview prove your quality skills n prove them how good you would be for the organization. See things will then gradually settle down. N in the mean time try to follow up wid your previous co. HR people for your Exp. letter.
I appreciate that you have accepted your fault and rectifying it. Very few people have the courage to do so.

Hi Ramesh,
I am in total agreement with Arsha Mercy.
Everybody makes a mistake but only few of them confess it and you are one of them.
Now start looking for small org too besides MNCs, where they do not need exp. certificate, reference checks etc. and once you get a job, it will be easier to get a way to MNCs.
Be optimistic.
