Dear friends
Can you please help me with some psychometric tests to be used as a tool for recruitment of medical representatives? These tests should be simple, not take to much time and be cost effective.

Dear Vandana,
Hope this finds you in the best of times. I have an answer to all your questions for testing of personality which would give you better and more accurate results, is cost effective and saves ample time in analysis and dealing with issues. This would be applicable for both organizations as a whole and individuals as well. The answer to all this is HANDWRITING ANALYSIS or in other words GRAPHOLOGY which is best suited than any other for anything that has to do with personality.
We effectively promote this. Do visit us at :: CURSIVE LOGIC :: and let me know if you would want us to help you in this regard. Thanks

Dear Vandana,I don't recommend psychometric tests for recruitment purposes unless you are looking for some special qualities in the propective candidates.Psychometric tests can guide you in terms of what kind of a person the candidate is but will not tell you about his abilities.I suggest you go for aptitude tests instead and use psychometric evaluation to find out whether you have made the right selection.best regards,Rahul Datta

yes Dear,
i agree wid Rahul..psychometric tests might not serve ur purpose..go for aptitude tests and other personality tests including EI or Social Style Survey kind a thing. u will be in better position to judge a person.

Hi Vandana, For medical reps, you would rather go for profiling to check the job fit of the prospective employee than a mere pyscometric test. The cost would not vary much as well. Regards, Imran

Hi all,

I just want to make a few comments:

Ability tests ARE psychometric tests just as Personality tests are psychometric tests.

I would recommend that you meet with a qualfied Level A and B workplace assessor, or an organizational psychologist or senior HR person who has in depth experience in using testing.

Personality tests like the 16 PF, 15 FQ etc can give some insight into the manner in which a candidate is likley to respond in a situtation.

Ability tests, can measure verbal, numerical and abstracti reasoning.

Various other aptitude tests may give you info about other skills sets.

It seems to me that first step is to identify what attributes in your recruits are you trying to measure? Have your defined the competencies you think are important to the role in behavior terms so that behavior and be observed and evaluated against a testing tool.

NO test should be used as the sole criterion for hiring or not hiring someone. That would be an unethical approach to testing.

I hope that helps.

Hi,
I would just like to add that Graphology could give a better and clearer picture and cater to what ever you are looking for in a person right from personality, to behavioral patterns and a complete analysis of the person. Moreover we have solutions suited for all persons in every particular industry. Do let me know if this would interest you.
Kind Regards,
Arun

Before you spend 10 minutes to take "Personality 100 TEST" by sponsor, look at the attachment.

At the end of the test you will not get result but you will get the info telling you to spend Rs 499 to get full report. So take note of it.
