Hi friend,
You can join MBA but by the end of day if you switch to HR from sales than you will not get good salary initially.. You will start your career in HR as fresher. Please think again if you want to switch from your current job. You have to be flexible on your salary thats for sure.

Hi,
Well it is a big decision, considering your age and career prospects. I think you should reconsider it, keeping in mind your 4 yrs exp in Marketing. I think if you do an MBA in Mktg, it will certainly help you to do better and it will take you places.
But if you are firm on shifting to HR then enrol for part time MBA and try to get some experience in this field. By the time you finish your MBA you will have 3 yrs exp in HR as well as an MBA degree plus you will be able to support your family financially.
I have no idea about Sikkim university... Check with some alumni.
Hope i could be of any help. In case you need any other queries u can contact on

First of all tell me why are you jumping from sales to HR and from HR to sales again. As i m working with a pharma co's HR i will suggest you that either stick to your sales job as it will give u a very good financial growth or as you said you are interested in house job than u can simultaneously complete PGDHRM from Symbiosis Centre of Distance Learning which gives affordable fees of Rs.25000/- for 2 years

Dear Cap,
I guess Rohit's suggestion should best suitable for you. At this point of time, stick doing part time MBA frm Symbiosis and working somewhere as HR will make your dream come true in the shortest time.
Cheers.
