Hello friends,
I am in a great dilemma. I am a student of management and this is my first year. I am keen to specialize in HR,. . but in our college there are rumours that HR field is not having jobs now, and it would be risky if u opt for HR. but i am interested in HR field only . I am an computer engineer and i want to know that whether it would be a good combination?
Our institute will also provide SAP training if we opt for IT minor. since i have done engineering in information technology , i will opt for IT minor , and will opt for HR (MAJOR) . So plz guide whether my decision is right or not.

Dear Anjana,
As per me your decision is right. Don't listen to the rumours. Go with the specialization that you have choosen. Training on SAP's HR module will be a great advantage for you. You'll have a brighter scope in IT industry after the completion of your course.

Dear Anjana,
For you its you only who can think better then others. Dont listen to the rumours. If you are passionate to choese HR then no one can stop you. Its up to you only. Need not to worry. Its true that there are less vacancies in HR as compaired to Marketing and IT, but most of the companies are always looking for good HR professionals.
As far as the combination is concerned it doesnt taste bad. Hope it will help you out?
So follow your mind &
Emerge as a new HR guru.
Good Luck,
