can anybody provide me the ruling of PF deduction on minimum wages given by Supreme Court. I have listen from the PF authority that SC has given ruling that Minimum wages can not be bifurcate. if someone has the copy of that ruling please mail me to enable me to act accordingly.

Dear Ashwani,
Only Basic and DA is the minimum wages, if you refer the minimum wages notification there will be two component. One is Basic and other one is Dearness Allowance.
If the gross salary is over and above minimum wages then you can bifurcated to other allowance such as HRA, Conyeance, etc., Just because to reduce the management liability on statutory payments we can not bifurcate.

Sir, in Himachal, there is no component in minimum wages notification in himachal un-skilled minimum wages is Rs. 5100/- per month. In this situation can we bifrucate Rs. 5100/- further such as D.A., HRA etc.

Respected All, according the notification of Delhi Govt the wages calling(16858, 18322) is higher than the PF wages calling (15000). please advise me in which wages calculated PF.
