I have to install emergency exit indicators in various parts of the office to show the direction of the emergency exit. I don't know if there is any standardization. I understand that the paint should be fluorescent, but what about the background color and the color of the alphabets.

Yes, the Fire Exit arrow should be in red. Also, please keep the following points in mind:
- The emergency exit should be kept open.
- The emergency exit door should be of the outward-open type.
- The Emergency Exit passage should not be blocked.
- The emergency exit signage should be in dual language (English and the local language).
- The Emergency Exit Light should be connected to UPS or battery (emergency light).
- Ensure that sufficient emergency exits are available.
