Dear Friends,

I would like to have legal advise on a very important matter from my expert friends here.I was working with a Oil PSU,however due to some unavoidable circumstances I was unable to attend office.But,I was continously in touch with my office through letters.Inspite of this, my office has published a Public Notice in a Newspaper for my absence from the office.Further,it also lied in the Public Notice that there has been no response whatsoever for any of the letters sent by the office to me, from me.But I have proofs of my response to my office, where my office itself is quoting/referring my letters.
I just would like to know,whether I can have Legal recourse for the same against my Office,which has blatantly & brazenly lied and that too through a Public Notice.Also kindly,throw some light on the circumstances/situations in which Public Notice for absenteeism can be published in the newspapers and also the legal provisions vsi-a-vis the same.Many Thanks.

As its PSU, rules will be tough and will involve all those lengthly legal matters. For eg, if you want to prove that you sent letters you need to show the registered post copies, and the delivery proof and all those legal things. Better get in touch with some Chief Director and explain your problem to them.

company can publish in newspapers when you are not receiving their letters and not replying their letters.you have to prove during enquiry that u were sending continious letters to them.now u send a letter to them stating that publication inform them your problem.
now brother question comes for action disciplinary action against u in that it will necessary to prove by u that absent was beyond your control .you can not simply absent for long time without proper reason.
