I am giving GAIL test for the role of executive trainee in Hr.please kinldy suggest me how to prepare for the exam.please also mention me what are the important areas on which i have concentrate more.

Hi Amar,
Basically for the company like GAIL you should have a good knowledge about Laws related to HR.
Factory Act, Labour laws, Industrial dispute acts, Industrial relations, Acts and laws related to hiring, compensation, provident fund, and other benefits.
Also make sure you know the latest amendments on the laws and legilations. They ask you question from all these areas.

Some good books on Industrial relations are:
Industrial relations and Law by P.K Malik
Another one is by H.L Kumar.
You can easily find them in all the major book stores across the country.
