Hi,

Dealing with jealous colleagues....Simple way is to ask their view point on any issue ,...to make them feel superior in a way as it hardly matters ...your knowledge will be yours only but yes if u make other feel gud about it then might be you will come across your daily routine problems little less..........And always remember that in our professional lives ...we are not here to make friends...

Other then this you way check out the link....Hope that this will help you....

If you are cofident in your work,No need of worry about office politics,
I wud say one thing of course this is my personal opinion, sometimes maintain low pofile. Nothing we are loosing Why i am saying this I found this ego aspect in the younger generation mainly engineers,MBAs etc. They are highly paid because of their qulification. But seniors are not digesting this. Then this conflict comes in the form of jealous.
Ps: senior means age and No working years, not in the qulification
So my advise is go with the people understood the culture and then proceed.
Intiatily go on their way, always listen, listen ,Listen
There is a formula for this
Open your eyes
Open your ears
But close your mouth till neded

hi shwe
the idea of politics need to be evaluted if it runs in the system from top to bottom . Kehthe hain na.. if it is encouraged from the top then there is no use fighting it directly, then the method is saap bhi mare aur lathi bhi na tooothe.
rest assured.
take care watch ur back and be cool

Hi,
You should not give too much of attention to the office politics as it will divert your attention from work and you will not be able to complete your tasks and this may create a negative image before your boss.

If we pay some attention over our body structure you will see that we have two ears and only one mouth so the nature itself wants us to listen more and speak less and only when appropriate. This is the golden rule of dealing with politics. The more you will speak on different aspects the more problems you will face. Try to be courteous to everyone & appreciate them. In the start of a person’s career it is very important not to involve him/her in organizational politics but as important is to learn it because the more you will excel in your career the more you need to have the skill to deal with politics.
I would say that focus on your work and make you mark in the company them even think about these issues.

Hi Hyma,
POLITICS IS EVERYWHERE....SO TO SAVE YOURSELF THE BEST IS TO PUT 100% EFFORT ON YOUR WORK AND IGNORE WHATS GOING ON AROUND BUT KEEP AN EYE ON EVERYTHING WITHOUT TALKING ABOUT THE MATTER. AND KEEP A BROAD SMILE ON YOUR FACE. GET FOCUSED ON ONLY YOUR WORK N START PRIORITIZING YOUR PERSONAL LIFE AS SOON AS YOU ARE OVER WITH YOUR OFFICE WORKS.
IHAVE WON THE MATCH IN THIS WAY. THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO STILL ARE INTO POLITICS, BUT I WORK 100% AND GIVE PRIORITY TO MY WORK N MY PERSONAL LIFE.
THE BENIFIT IS I KNOW EVERYTHING BUT AM ONLY CONCERNED WITH MY JOB, N MY MANAGEMENT IS HAAPY WITH ME BUT MY COLLEGUES ARE JELOUS N CONTINUES THEIR HABIT OF BEINGT POLITICIANS.
