Dear All, Please help me out in designing Company's Penal Codes; if anyone among you have these penal codes for the company please post it here for mine and others reference. My boss has assigned me to design a penal code for the company and I never had an experience of designing them. A template with all the functions would be helpful otherwise. I presume you mean Standing Orders of the company framed and certified following the Industrial Employment Standing Orders Act. There is a draft of standing orders given in the Act itself; you can take as it is or make modifications and get it certified by an Officer not below the rank of Asst. Labour Commissioner of your area. Standing Orders list our what the employees are expected to do for the company and what they are not expected to do. It sets out in detail the procedure of dealing with various disciplinary action, handling of grievances etc and as such it is the code of conduct of the company. Get it. Regards, Madhu.T.K

Hi, As you are working in Saudi Arabia, the laws may be different from Indian laws to certain levels. Pls refer to some of the consultants at your location who may be of better help as I do not have any references. -Saravana Rajan

Thanks for the replies, Mr. Sravan and Mr. Madhu, Actually! these are generally accpeted principles for HR and Administration. This has nothing to do with the Labor Law. Just in general, even if I can get for Indian Context; I will modify it according to Saudi Arabian Labor and Workmen Law. Please help me out Thanks Khaiser Ali Shah
