Hi everyone....Recently I got an offer for a company as an Asst. Manager Sales & Marketing. But they have not given me any offer letter and it is just verbally they confirmed that I am selected for the above post. Secondly , they told me that at the 1 month itself after joining, I will be given a minimum target to achieve and they will obersve my performance, if I fail to achieve the target 1st month itself , then they would deduct 50% of my salary and same as next month...Also they will be giving me the appointment letter after 3 months, till then I will be under contract period. I am confused, whether to join this company???? please advise.

Hi Santosh,
This orgn seems very cruel apart from being very unprofessional. While targets in 1st month seems Ok, deducting 50% of salary is very cruel. And, they shud give u some kind of document mentioning ur contractual job along with other terms n conditions of deducting 50% salary (this is so absurd) and giving offer letter after 3months etc.
My suggestion is, talk to these ppl abt ur letter of appointment on contratual basis and take up this job only if u r in desparate need of a job.
