Maternity benefit for adhoc employee in delhi govt hospital
Hello friends and respected seniors i need urgent advice of urs i m a doctor and working in one of delhi govt hospitals on adhoc basis my contract is of 89 days and is renewed after break of one day i m working in hospital from 31st october 08 and twice my contract has been renewed d latest extention is till 26th july 09. i m pregnant and is my expected date of delivery is 25 july 09 am i eligible for d maternity benefit leave under d maternity benefit act 1961? as my last working day is 26th july 09 according to current extention order i want to avail maternity leave from 25th june 09 at this date i will be working for this hospital from approx. 8 months in d preceding 12 months can it be possible? if i m eligible how will it be materialised? currently d administration is providing maternity paid leave to adhoc employee only if she has her due date with in her extention period eg. currently a nurse delivered a baby while she had 2 months left in her current extention period so they gave her 2 months paid leave but now she will hv to join n work. my case is worse as my due date is 25th july09 and my last working day is on 26th july09 so according to administration i wont be getting any leave in such a case what shd i do plz guide me i need urgent help n guidance of urs. i will be much obliged. thank u in anticipation
Death compensation
I am one of the director in private limited company. our registered office is in delhi. one of our staff member passed way during installation of equipment at site at amoha moradabad. the staff member belongs to agra. our company paid the medical bills when was admitted in the hospital for 4 days and done what ever best can be done but unfortunately he passed away due to head injury. now his family member filed a case at agra against company and all directors. i want to know: 1. are all / any director libel in this case 2. can the case transferred to delhi 3. company is not in position to pay a hefty amount in one go / even in parts in small interval of time as company is already running through hugh losses clearly visible in balance sheets and bank statements. what are the other options to pay compensation. in the end it is nothing like company does want to pay. company wants to pay salary of the staff for say 5 years / 8 years. with regards rohit nanda

Career and job confusion - 3 years of experience as a receptionist and 6 years of experience as an accountant
Hi everyone i really need help and guidance from you and all the experienced people out there. i am stuck in my thoughts and feeling depressed. i started my job at the age of 18 as a receptionist in an eye hospital. with my job i completed my bachelor s in commerce and joined the same hospital as an accountant but my work is completely different as an accountant. my work profile includes hr operations finance operations administration and accounting too. i have done a master s in commerce also with my job. total 3 years of experience as a receptionist and 6 years of experience as an accountant actually different work as mentioned above. now i am looking for a new job for the last 1.5 years but have not gotten opportunities and interview calls in spite of applying continuously. my mixed experience is the reason i guess. i am very good at numbers and hr and administration too and not able to decide what i actually like. please suggest to me which field i should choose further. also what designation should i mention in c.v. i am the only person here handling all duties related to hr finance administration and accounts for more than 6 years? please help me. thank you
