Hi all,
I am here to request for your help to find a solution for my problem.
We are a newly started recruiting firm in the IT division. We tried to develop our database. We had gone to many institutions asking for their past years students list. But nobody is giving the list as ours is a new organization
They want to know the client companies list and the number of candidates that we have placed so far.
Also, we don't have an account in any portals because of financial problems.
What we should do develop our database?
And also the client companies are not giving the contract because of the same problem.
What to do/
Kindly help. We had already started the firm but now there is no way to go

create yr database....take portal on a try basis and download cv’s, call them take refrences, ask from people to give refrence for any position.....

YOu could probably start an account in social networking sites like orkut, linkedin, facebook etc and try to head hunt through these sites. Now atleast 7% of recruitments are done through social networking sites. Try these.

Although the free job sites, and taking references will help,
Job sites and references alone cannot take your company any were soon.
The best option for you now would be to tie-up with a growing consulting firm, you can get business and database access.
Although you are working for someone else you can make good money if you can negotiate, recruitment exp. will help a lot,

We had tried that one . We posted in all forums, But nobody is responding. So we thought of sending scaps to all. But there is no provision to send it to all members atonce? Have you done anything like this before?

You can buy postings atleast from Naukri or Monster.Naukri job posting will be there for a month and you will get lot of resumes also.Monster and Jobs ahead postings will be for 2 months.
I think if u post once, u will get more than 500 resumes in that u can have a database. and 1 posting in naukri costs u 843/- rs only.

I will be starting recruitemnt company in Financial services/Consulting /Analytics this month .I have created a required database and will be taking the portal login.I have contacts details of Talent aquisition team in targetted companies.But I am not sure about the legal process how to go about it .What are the documents required .Please share the list of documents required and the process in Detail.

Register with some portal as this is very necessary,then visit small companies first ask them for Job position work for one position for free and get a contract where in return they will offer you 2-3 new positions.
