Hi Team,

Good evening to all of you.

I have been working as a Coordinator-HR for an insurance company in off-roles for the last three years and waiting for a chance to get onto company roles. As my manager resigned, I acted as a Facilitator and ran the entire show for about six months. Now, a new manager has come and is asking me to start front-end work, whereas until now, I managed backend work.

I really did not understand what exactly front-end work entails. Can anyone explain it to me? Currently, my roles and responsibilities are partially in recruitment and fully in HR operations, such as issuing offers, MIS, payroll, separation policies, etc.

What exactly is front-end work in HR? Where do I need to improve more?

Dear Team, please guide me.

Cheers,
Udaya

Hi,

I have experience working as an HR executive in Recruitment. A friend has suggested a job for an HR executive for Backend work in a BPO. Could you please tell me what activities fall under this backend profile and what I should prepare for in the interview? What competencies are necessary to work in HR backend?

With regards,
Gunjan

Guess your question answers itself...

Back-end operations are the ones that are related to database and documentation maintenance and management, which involve almost no direct interaction with external clients of the company.
